This Privacy Statement outlines the information we may collect through the use of this website (“Bradley Odegard Law Website”) and how such information may be used and disclosed. We do not collect personally identifiable information (PII) through the Bradley Odegard Law Website unless such information is provided to us by e-mail via a link contained on the Bradley Odegard Law Website. Please note that your use of the website constitutes an agreement to the terms of this privacy policy.

What information is gathered and how it is used:

This website uses cookies, text files that are placed on your computer to allow your computer to be recognized by our website so that we may analyze how the site is being used. This analysis of compiled aggregate and statistical information may include the number of visitors, how visitors find their way to our website, total time spent on our website, and the pages they visit.  This information is gathered so that we are better able to keep our website content relevant to our readers.

The cookies on our website may be used by third-party web analytics services, such as Google Analytics.

We also collect the personal data you provide to us directly. This information is typically provided in one of two ways:

  1. From visitors who have opted-in to receive communications from Bradley Odegard such as invitations to our seminars and events, or to send out newsletters or other news relating to our firm and/or the areas of our practice where the visitor has indicated a specific interest.
  2. From visitors who choose to email an attorney from our website. Visitors who click a link to open an email form will notice a separate disclaimer and a form for explicit consent. While the email does not immediately begin a client-attorney relationship, personal data is necessary for conducting the business for which the individual has initiated contact, e. g., responding to an inquiry or, should both the visitor and Bradley Odegard agree to work together, for engaging in regard to the matter of interest.

Website users may be prompted by the site to provide additional personal information and may include the user’s name, e-mail, address, phone number along with inquiries or comments.  Users should never provide sensitive personal or financial information on the website.  Users should never provide their social security number, driver’s license number, date of birth, debit or credit card numbers, financial information, or any other information except the information contained in the contact form.  If a user provides any sensitive personal information, Bradley Odegard Law is not responsible or liable for any use or dissemination of such information.  Providing information other than the contact form is at the risk of the individual user.

We will not attempt to link or match the anonymous technical information we collect with any personally identifiable information or disclose to third parties personally identifiable information collected by us through the Bradley Odegard Law Website unless:

  • We have your consent,
  • We (or our service providers) have detected or reasonably suspect any attempt to damage the Bradley Odegard Law Website or other security breaches, or
  • We are required by law to do so.

Permanent cookies are stored indefinitely on a user’s hard drive unless manually deleted, while temporary cookies are automatically deleted from the user’s browser upon logging out of a website.

Web browsers typically allow users to disable permanent and/or temporary cookies. The foregoing policy is effective as of July 25, 2021. Bradley Odegard reserves the right to change this policy at any time. If you have any questions or concerns about this Privacy Policy, please contact us.

Confidentiality:

The standards of the legal profession treat all client or potential client information as confidential. Bradley Odegard Law agrees to refrain from sharing client or potential client information with others unless doing so is necessary to further the client’s or potential client’s legal interests or as required by law, unless specifically waived by the client or potential client.

Attorney-Client Relationship:

Any act to share confidential information, or any request by the user for a consultation does not create an attorney-client relationship and any failure by Bradley Odegard Law to contact the user shall not result in any breach of duty by Bradley Odegard Law.  An attorney-client relationship is not formed until both the user/client and an attorney acting on behalf of Bradley Odegard Law agree to representation.

Thank you.
